History
• Please inform us of any health problems your pet may have or any relevant
history of illness. This will enable us to take extra care and assist
us to identify any problems should they occur.
Diet
•
Pets are fed twice daily unless you request otherwise.
• We use
high quality dry complete foods from Royal Canin or James Wellbeloved.
• Please inform us if your pet has any particular dietary needs
or a special diet and we will work with you to make the necessary arrangements.
• You
are also welcome to bring in your own food.
Vaccinations
•
We will need to see your pet’s up to date vaccination card every
time you book in you pet.
• All vaccinations for dogs and cats
must have been administered within the past 12 months. If in any doubt,
contact your vet prior
to boarding.
• We can board puppies/kittens 2 weeks after their
final vaccination.
Veterinary indemnity
•
For the duration of your pet’s stay, we will automatically provide
health cover under our indemnity scheme of up to £200 for vet
bills.
This cover is charged at an additional 50 pence (+ VAT) per pet, per
day and does not cover any pre-existing conditions.
• If you
have your own insurance and wish to use it, please make sure you inform
us when booking in
“Kennel cough”
•
Aka infectious bronchitis, can be a problem all year round. We recommend
that you consult your vet for advice about whether or not vaccination
is appropriate.
• If your vet does recommend Nobivac KC/Intrac,
it is advisable to administer this 2 weeks prior to boarding. This
will allow time
for the vaccine to become effective.
• Re-boosters of the above
are carried out 12 or 6 monthly respectively.
