YOUR PET'S HEALTH

History

• Please inform us of any health problems your pet may have or any relevant history of illness. This will enable us to take extra care and assist us to identify any problems should they occur.

Diet

• Pets are fed twice daily unless you request otherwise.

• We use high quality dry complete foods from Royal Canin or James Wellbeloved.

• Please inform us if your pet has any particular dietary needs or a special diet and we will work with you to make the necessary arrangements.

• You are also welcome to bring in your own food.

Vaccinations

• We will need to see your pet’s up to date vaccination card every time you book in you pet.

• All vaccinations for dogs and cats must have been administered within the past 12 months. If in any doubt, contact your vet prior to boarding.

• We can board puppies/kittens 2 weeks after their final vaccination.

Veterinary indemnity

• For the duration of your pet’s stay, we will automatically provide health cover under our indemnity scheme of up to £200 for vet bills.

This cover is charged at an additional 50 pence (+ VAT) per pet, per day and does not cover any pre-existing conditions.

• If you have your own insurance and wish to use it, please make sure you inform us when booking in

“Kennel cough”

• Aka infectious bronchitis, can be a problem all year round. We recommend that you consult your vet for advice about whether or not vaccination is appropriate.

• If your vet does recommend Nobivac KC/Intrac, it is advisable to administer this 2 weeks prior to boarding. This will allow time for the vaccine to become effective.

• Re-boosters of the above are carried out 12 or 6 monthly respectively.
